Frequently asked questions

At Storyline, we want to walk alongside you as you consider the step of baptism. Your first step is to fill out the baptism interest form! From there:
Kids and middle school students will attend a baptism class.
High school students, college students, and adults will be given access to a short video series.
After that, you’ll be paired with a baptism coach—someone who will hear your story, answer any questions, and encourage you as you prepare for baptism.
-
Not at all! It’s never too late to take this step of obedience. Even if you’ve followed Jesus for a long time, baptism is a beautiful and meaningful way to declare your faith. While the video series may cover familiar ground, it’s designed to remind you of the hope you have in Christ—and your story might be just what someone else needs to hear.

That’s okay—and actually, this a great place to start. We would love to walk with you as you explore what baptism means. The videos you’ll receive will help answer common questions, and your baptism coach will be there to talk through anything you’re unsure about.

If your child is an infant, your next best step is Family Dedication. This step represents a commitment on the part of parents to see the home as their first mission field.
For elementary school students and middle school students, the baptism class is meant to help equip parents to have conversations about baptism and salvation with their children. For more information about this class, fill out the baptism interest form for your child!
