What's the history of listening to the Bible?

The practice of listening to the Bible, rather than just reading it, has a long history in Christianity. Throughout the centuries, Christians have found that hearing the word of God read aloud can be a powerful and transformative experience.

At Storyline Church, we continue this tradition by regularly listening to scripture during our services, as well as encouraging members to listen to the Bible on their own time, in order to deepen their relationship with God and understanding of scripture.
