Support Team for Foster Families Lunch

As a church family, we are beginning to see common areas of excitement, passion, and gifting show in the lives of our members. One of those is a desire to be involved in the Foster Care and Adoption arenas. At Storyline, we have around a dozen families currently with foster children and/or adopted children. This lunch will act as a way to discover how our church can best serve these families in our church.

This event is directly aimed at families NOT in the Foster Care/Adoptive arena and desire to serve Storyline Families directly.

Severe Weather Shelter Network Training

SWSN (Severe Weather Shelter Network) offers critical overnight shelter during life-threatening winter conditions for individuals experiencing homelessness in Arvada. Storyline Church is partnering with this remarkable organization to prepare our members to volunteer and provide a warm welcome, hot meals, and bedrolls to those in need on severe weather nights from October through April in the 2023-2024 season.

Join us on October 15th from 11am to 12:30pm right here at Storyline Church for a training session led by the Severe Weather Shelter Network staff. This training will equip you to make a meaningful difference for the homeless population during inclement weather this fall and winter.

To learn more about SWSN and their mission, please visit their website: https://swshelternetwork.com/about/

As a church, we believe in answering the call to serve "the least of these," and within our city, there are countless men and women facing homelessness and at risk. We invite you to join us in prayer, in caring for these individuals, and in sharing the hope of the Gospel with those in need.
